    Tink Finn's best friend, though he'd never admit that to anyone. Tink is an automated drone that has undergone some goblin upgrades thanks to Fenton. She is able to travel long distances and hardly ever needs recharging anymore.

  • Grandma

    Grandma Merlin Grandma lives in France, as all the Merlins have since as long as there have been Merlins. She passes her days puttering away in the family’s antique shop, between the magic wards and the ancient cursed runes. Business is slow and she doesn't seem to mind that she does more to scare away the customers than not.

  • The Loyal Servant

    Phileas Fleabody The grimalkin known as Fleabody may not have always been a butler, but he has always kept a watchful eye on the Merlin family, ever since he was a kitten. Together with his associates Lady Jenna Fur, Purscilla Pedigree, Mr Wumbly, and Mr Barnabas they act as Jack's personal staff.

  • The Bureaucrat

    Lord Furnibal Jones Chancellor to the Kingdom of Grimperloft and rival to the King, Lord Furnibal Jones considers himself the only voice of reason left in parliment. He considers it his consitutional duty to keep the king in check.

  • Jack's Family

    Elaine and Rachel Jack's mother Elaine is an art dealer of antiquities and his other mother Rachel is an archaeologist. Both of them are always traipsing around the world with Jack in tow. But this time they have had to regretably leave Jack with his grandmother. Jack isn't entirely sure why.

  • The Big Brother

    Hott Norberg Finn's older brother Hott is brave and courageous, embodying everything Finn aspires to be one day. With a fierce determination and a protective nature, Hott hopes to join the ranks of his father's Order.

  • The Imp

    The Boy in the Attic There is a wild feral boy that sometimes appears in Grandma's attic. He vanishes before Jack can catch him. Though Grandma doesn't seem to mind. She is more concerned that he has red hair. Imps with red hair are nothing but trouble.

  • The Fairy Hunter

    The Mysterious Figure Could that really be Grandpa Henry after all these years? Henry Merlin went missing 10 years ago and now suddenly appears out of nowhere looking for something in Grandma's attic. Or could it be someone else? Either way Jack must find out.

  • The Protector

    Mostbeard Carl Norberg, Finn's father, takes troll hunting very seriously. He claims he can smell a troll from a hundred meters. Why if it weren't for Carl Mostbeard Norberg the inhabitants of Saint Galdramour would all be living under a bridge by now... well according to him.

  • The Mysterious Benefactor

    Reynard Beauseant Reynard lives in the vast Galdramourdon Castle all alone. Aloof and cryptic Jack can never be sure which side Reynard will fall on next.

  • The Order

    The Order of the Children of Bastet Agents Schrodinger and Chimera belong to an ancient order older than the pyramids themselves. Their order has charged itself with the rescue and recovery of orphaned and catnapped kittens.

  • The Mentor

    Perseus Perseus Schrodinger has a complicated past. He is currently training Belle to be an archer. Why he asked to be asigned to Grimperloft is a bit of a mystery.

  • The Loyal Guard

    Captain Bartholomew As Captain of the Royal Guard, Bartholomew must never show his fear. For he knows, Grimalkins can smell fear. You can find him often standing on the walls of Grimperloft staring into the encroaching gloom that surrounds them, planning his next move.

  • The Carnies

    The Hornswoggles Diggory Hornswoggle and his family. (seen here with Butch and Gaffer). The Hornswoggles are carnies that live in L'ament, a runied amusement park on the other side of the Undergloom. There they make a meager living harvesting atomie dust.

  • The Townsfolk

    The Lutins The people of Saint Galdramour are a little quaint and old fashion, much like the town itself. Something is odd about them, and Jack can't quite figure out what it is. (seen here are Percy Washbucket and Apricotine)
